<div itemprop="description">Talarico, Rosina <br> <br>Peacefully in hospital on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 at the age of 93. Beloved and devoted wife of the late Antonio Talarico. Loving mother of Dominic (Maureen) and Ross (Antonietta). Cherished grandmother of Anthony (Amy), Kathleen (Brett), Antonio, Francesca, Giancarlo and Marianna and great grandmother of Jamesy and Lydia. Loving daughter of the late Rosario Falcone and Francesca Ledonne. Dear sister of Eugenio. Predeceased by sister, Esterina, Maria and Aurora and brothers, Domenico and Luigi. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends in Italy, Argentina and Canada. Arriving in Canada in 1949 and 1950, Antonio and Rosina were among the first of the post-WWII wave of Italian immigrants to settle in Ottawa. Married in 1950, life was hard in the beginning, but they successfully raised a family in the “village” and were pillars of St. Anthony’s. Rosina was a dedicated wife, mother and loving grandmother. Married for 52 years, Rosina is reunited with Antonio in heaven. Friends may pay respects at the Kelly Funeral Home, Carling Chapel, 2313 Carling Avenue, Ottawa, ON, K2B 7G3, 613-828-2313 on Friday December 30, 2016 from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Saturday to St. Anthony`s Church for Mass of Christian Funeral at 10 am. Entombment Pinecrest Cemetery. In Memoriam donations to Villa Marconi or CHEO would be appreciated.
