Passed away peacefully at the Queensway Carleton Hospital on Monday, February 13, 2017. Beloved wife of the late James Gerard McIntomny. Proud and loving mother of Mary Ann (Greg Coulson), Brian (Nancy), and Greg. Loving Nana of Sarah (Robert), Marcella (Robb), Matthew, Patrick, Erin, Alison, Robin, and James, and great-Nana of Lily Ann and Eleanor Rose. She will be sadly missed by siblings: Mary, Michael (Marion), Frances, Marion, Nora and Linus. Predeceased by her parents, Arthur and Marcella Kelly (Nolan), by her sisters, Luella, and Florence, and her brothers, Daniel, Wilfred (Aileen), Kenneth and Philip. She will be fondly remembered by her extended family including Lorna, Beatrice, Ben and many nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Mom will be remembered for her warm and generous spirit and her devotion to her faith, including being a Life Member of the CWL of Canada. Family and friends may attend a Funeral Mass at Saint Patrick’s Basilica, 220 Kent Street (at Nepean), on Friday, February 17, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. followed by a reception. Interment will take place later in the spring at St. Brigid’s Cemetery, Manotick. In Memoriam donations to the University of Ottawa Heart Institute would be appreciated.
