Cameron Patrick John Wilson
October 31, 1989 - February 3, 2017
Cameron Patrick John Wilson
(Mr. Fish)
It is with profound sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our beloved Cameron on February 3, 2017 at the age of 27 following post-surgical complications. Treasured son of Joan (Kavanagh) and Tom. Cherished brother of Courtney and Erin. Loving grandson of Gloria Kavanagh and Mae Wilson. Cameron also leaves behind his great uncle Father Frank Kavanagh O.M.I., great aunts Susan and Lil DeAngelis, aunts and uncles Brian and Sue Kavanagh, Scott Wilson, Martha Wilson, Patricia and Jonathan Hollinger, Andrew Wilson, Agi Horvath, Mike and Sharon Wilson, and cousins Jennifer, Amanda, Christopher, Alexander, Megan, Lauren, Patrick, Kyle and Tristan. He will also be greatly missed by his many friends at Ivanhoe group home, the Ottawa Rotary Home day program and his devoted friend Hollan Miseferi.
Despite Cameron’s special needs he embraced every opportunity to live life to the fullest. He gifted everyone he met with his infectious smile and laugh and his own unique sense of humour. He faced every challenge he met with determination, courage and a smile. He shared his love of music and books with all who came into his life. We are all better people for having known and loved him.
Many thanks to the ICU and 7th floor neuroscience staff and the palliative care team of the Ottawa Civic Hospital for their care and compassion during Cameron’s stay. Friends may pay their respects at the
